Important PeopleCert Update | AXELOS Certificates will Expire After 3 Years

As you are probably aware, all Axelos Foundation certificates for courses such as PRINCE2®, PRINCE2 Agile®, MSP® and ITIL®, currently have no expiry date, while Practitioner certificates usually expire every 3-5 years. This, however, has now changed.

PeopleCert Foundation certifications will have an expiration date

PeopleCert confirmed back in November last year that from 1st January 2023 all new certificates for Axelos qualifications, including Foundation certificates, will expire after 3 years.

You can maintain your Foundation certified status by:

• Retaking an examination before the certification expiry date
• Attending additional course(s) during validity period
• Collecting and logging professional development points (CPD)

So, after January 1st 2023, Foundation certificates will unfortunately expire if they are not renewed in one of these ways.

PeopleCert pricing will also increase

Prices for all PeopleCert certifications will also be increasing in the new year by 15%.

As it stands, MKC Training's prices are staying the same. We will send out an update if this changes however.
