Who is the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation qualification for?

This is not a course just for project managers. It is for anyone with an interest in projects; team members, project support, product owners and project sponsors. This introduction course will enable you to deliver, manage and work in an agile environment with your projects and project teams, without any prior knowledge of PRINCE2. Many people are now choosing this qualification over the 'pure' PRINCE2 qualification.

Accreditation / Qualification(s) offered

Successfully passing the exam will result in you being awarded the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation qualification (valid for 3 years).

PeopleCert Online Exams

Your exam voucher is valid for 12 months so you can take your exam at a time and day that is convenient to you but, we do recommend taking the exam during the week of your course if possible as pass rates are typically higher.

Foundation Exam – 60 minute, closed book exam set by PeopleCert with 50 multiple choice questions each worth one mark. 50% pass mark (28 marks out of the 50 questions).

We have a ‘FREE course resit policy’ for anyone who unfortunately does not pass their exam, all we require is that you pay for your exam resit. You can then attend the next PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course for FREE!

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course is a 3 day introduction to both the world of project management and agile ways of working.

Candidates on this course will be given an introduction to the PRINCE2 processes, principles and themes. However, the main focus will be on exploring what it means to be agile and how the team members, project manager and project board can work in a more agile way. As well as conventional teaching, there will be practical activities so that learners can practice a number of agile techniques.

While pre-reading is recommended, the course assumes no previous knowledge or experience.

By the end of the course, all learners will have a better understanding of agile project management. They will have experienced what if feels like to work in an agile way and learnt some agile techniques to try out in their workplace.

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation is the first step to achieving PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner and most learners go on to complete that course too.
