Campbell Christie CBE to strengthen MKC Training Team

MKC Training, experts in the design and delivery of innovative learning, assessment and training, has appointed Campbell Christie CBE as Senior Naval Adviser. Together with the recent appointment of Joe McManus, this further consolidates the expert team that is set to scale MKC's existing success and support expansion for classroom, e-learning and blended learning courses across corporate, government and SME customers.

Campbell is a recognised authority for professional development and skills training across the forces. He retired from the Royal Navy in 2010 as the Commodore in charge of Training Policy, where he was responsible for the Royal Navy's outsourced training contract. He was also the Professional Head of the Royal Navy's Training and Education Branch, leading some 250 Training Management officers.

Since 2010 he has been the Principal and CEO of Bracknell & Wokingham Further Education College. He led the College to two Ofsted GOOD inspections and the best results in the Thames Valley region before leaving the College in May 2018.

Campbell is an accomplished, resourceful, adaptable and innovative senior executive; widely experienced in governance and recognised at board level as an energetic team builder, skilled communicator and successful strategic leader and lateral thinker. He uses his expertise across all areas of people development to deliver sensitive management of large scale resources, people and complex change management, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

MKC Managing Director, Andrew Brader said

"Campbell Christie is a valuable addition to our senior team and is well placed to help us serve our customers across all areas of the military and defence sector. We value his experience and the benefit that his advisory services will bring to our clients and for the MKC Training organisation itself."
