What is the IOSH Managing Safely® Course?

The IOSH Managing Safely course is a Level 3 qualification and is designed to give supervisors, managers and heads of department the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to manage their team's health and safety. It ensures that you can assess and control risks and hazards in the workplace effectively and competently and provides critical training for embedding health and safety principles and practices throughout an organisation.

You will complete a multiple choice written assessment and a practical workplace assessment within two weeks of the completion of the course.

There are no formal entry requirements to join us on this course, although responsibility to manage risk in your workplace would help with the understanding of some of the material.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

Assess and minimise risks throughout the workplace
Understand the health, safety and legal implications of workplace activities
Contribute towards creating a safer working culture for your organisation
