Successful Launch of our Leadership and Management in Construction Programme

We had a successful Train the Trainer Day for the launch of our Leadership and Management in Construction Qualification Programme

What an amazing experience it was when the CITB MKC Training team got together for a final run-through and collaboration day on our Construction ILM (C-ILM) Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management programme!

The aim of the day was to gather all of the brilliant minds together who would be delivering this fantastic CITB-funded management qualification, to finetune the course material, delivery, and everything in-between.

It is a rare moment to get a team of this calibre together in one room, so this was a very special moment for us at MKC Training, and the trainers themselves.

The day was packed full of energy, fresh ideas, and planning preparation, maintaining our inclusive learning approach which is a key factor in all our training delivery!

Things to expect on our C-ILM Leadership & Management course

The CITB Training team delved into each of the learning areas, enjoying the exercises as we went, in particularly the interactive practical exercises with Barrel Building using Kahoot.

Our ‘Give Me 5’ exercise gave trainers the opportunity to see the course through a site supervisor’s eyes. Trainers enjoyed the competition element of the Leadership and Management Practice quiz in Kahoot.

We learned more about our own motivations and sharpened our planning skills with the short planning exercises, enjoying a race to the right answer in the Critical Path Analysis Task.

It was fantastic to hear that, as the leading training team, they felt supported with the trainer materials and supporting documents. There was a good mixture of generic and construction-sector specific content within the course, which is key for our diverse client base, and this level of training.
